UKPC DCB Legal claim
Comments
-
Update - I have received a Notice of Transfer of Proceedings that the claim has been transferred to my local County Court. It will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of the judge's decision will be sent to me in a notice of allocation.
Is there anything that I need to be doing or preparing for in advance of this?
Thanks0 -
1) study the 12 steps in the defence template thread
2) study a dozen or more recent cases on here that are ahead of yours, doing what they did
3) start preparing your WS and read some of the court directions shown in pictures of other threads
Staying in your own bubble doesn't help you, studying the discontinued cases in the Umkomaas discontinuations thread does3 -
WS and exhibits stage is in the NEWBIES Thread, so read that, second post.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update - Following receipt of the Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing), I have had a missed call from DCB Legal and a voice mail asking for me to call them. I presume it is a last ditch attempt to either frighten me and get me to mediate an outcome to prevent them having to discontinue. I presume I should just ignore it?1

Nice one, although your thread title (UKPC) is at odds with the PPC name on the NoD. Still entered in the DCB Legal discontinuation thread of shame. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
