Very odd....its not ordinary actively remembering something like that for a year, so I must have read is somewhere....anyone else recall it at all?

    Confused! :o

I cant remember exactly what it was, but I know there was some sort of warning about it. I think the interest awarded ater a year was described as a 'bonus' by someone (maybe Martin??)... and you might have to have your account open to get it.

I know there is something at the back of my minding ringing a faint alarm bell... i hope it becomes more clear soon !

looking forward to my yearly interest payment anyway :)

I do remember the interest rate increase also as it took place soon after I opened the account which was fantastic.....!

Anyway....going back to my original question.....what other accounts are out there please !???

    Thx!

A&L have their Premier Plus Current Account at 5.00% AER - snag is that you have to be putting £1000+ in a month - if your salary is paid in then you're sorted!

Don't A&L pay 5.00% only on the first £2,500 in the account? I think I'm correct about that. To my knowledge anything above £2,500 receives 0.1%.
