iPod Nano Help

Daughter had an iPod Nano for Christmas, today she bought a speaker system for it & when she put it on it worked for one song but now it play any songs at all, we've re-set it & it said that there was an error & a problem had occured, the song is there on the screen but it wont play. I would be very greatful for any advice on how to get it working again, thanks in advance.

Can you turn it off and on OK0

- Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
- Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

I presume the earlier poster sorted the problem for you. If not, I'd consider taing it back to the shop (if its not too inconvenient) for a replacement and see if you can't wangle some blank discs, cables or something thrown in free for the inconvenience of it all.
If you still have any problems, pm me about it so I know, and I'll post tomorrow about it - I've a few ipod-fixes articles in my room, but I'm just about to crash for the night.
