Possible redundancy

The company i work for is having cash flow problems paying people late fuel cards always on stop etc. we received our P45’s this week but are still employed in the same role with a sister company name would this affect my redundancy at a later date as i have 7 years service. Also i asked my manager yesterday what it’s looking like going forward and he replied “day by day” not sure what that means but trying to hang it out for possible redundancy.

If so your continuous service is protected.
