Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to report that Esther still isn't home. Yesterday the Doctors said it was probably caused by an infection but she looked so well and engaging that she didn't need antibiotics etc. They were waiting to go home late afternoon when she had another seizure. As a result things have ramped up, they have started her on antibiotics and she will stay in until she has had an MRI scan which will probably be Monday. She will also have an EEG on Tuesday or Wednesday but at another hospital. Hopefully neither of them will show anything and they will then put it down to her being ill. They are only doing these because she hasn't had a temperature so they can't just put the fits down to febrile convulsions.
I took some things over for Laura while Brian came home to spend the night with Esben - they have a rule saying only one carer overnight. Laura was really anxious about it so I decided to stay as long as they'd let me and in fact no-one said anything and I could have stayed all night but they settled down to sleep about 1.30 and I left then. Esther was sad when I got there but after a nap and some calpol she cheered up and was playing happily so Laura felt better about things.
Brian is going back now and we have Esben. I'm making cup cakes with him to take to a play date this afternoon so I'd better go.
Izzy, I'm glad they came through and showed some appreciation at last.
Have a good day.12 -
Morning all
Pourimg with rain here again and lots of roads flooded, we have roadworks on our road and the water is halfway up the road cones 😳 it’s meant to rain all weekend too !
The dentist turned out to be fine yesterday thank goodness he managed to remove the old filling and underneath that was a piece of the previous one which my old dentist had not cleaned out he said it would have got infected at some point so I’m glad it’s been done and with no nerve damage! Little pup also had her teeth cleaned and was so good we have signed her up for a six week course her teeth are looking better already.
DD is off to London today to stay with her oldest friend from school I think they are going out tonight, so we will look after big pup here she is no trouble bless her.
Dinner tonight will be chicken curry and I’m hoping OH will make his Bombay potatoes which are delicious.
Izzy Happy Retirement, I’m glad your ex employers marked the occasion! X
Snoozer I hope Esther is ok xx

Morning All
Sunny spells this morning so the washing is out, there's another load in.
I've been for a swim and done the shopping, the DW is to be emptied and the hoover to be thrown about upstairs - I may need to scrub the landing carpet as I see there's make up on it.
So pleased your employers marked your retirement Izzy - make sure you're never available!
Sorry to hear Esther is still unwell snoozer.
What a lovely surprise Gers, enjoy the family time.
Glad your Dentist appt was ok Ruby.
I'm going to collect the little one later and she can spend the night here so her Mummy and Daddy can go out tonight, they will come and collect her tomorrow.
Lots of odd jobs to do this morning so I had better get on. Take care. XX9
