Express Bifolds

If you’re thinking of buying sliding doors for your extension, choose carefully.
We spent £12600 on 2 sliding doors and a casement window from Express Bi-folds. Couldn’t supply the actual doors we ordered as there were problems with manufacturing quality so compromised on another model, only to find these allow water into the house! They say this is expected. See photo.
The casement window had defective glass! Many revisits were required through faults and incompetence. We paid for all their vans over this period. They offered us a pathetic 2.6% compensation. Beware.

That seems overly generous!

No sliding doors are completely weatherproof, there are things that can be done to minimise water ingress but they just aren't suitable for some locations. You'd expect a designer to consider that.
You'd need to establish if the doors are faulty, the installation is poor or they aren't suitable for the location.

Picture does not cover enough to be able to see what or where the issue is.
Just what as you wanting from them?
As 2.6% of what?
Or is this just a vent, in which case wrong section?Life in the slow lane0
