Switch from EON Next Loyalty Fix V4 Fees

Hi

I'm trying to protect myself from a possible issue with EON regarding switching to their Pledge tariff from my loyalty fix. There should be no exit fees to pay but I noticed some forum members having problems with this. Just wondering if everyone got sorted? I have contacted them and they confirmed no fee should be forthcoming but said the fee may be taken and then reimbursed.

Cheers

If you have that in writing, just switch.

I recently changed from E.ON's "Next Loyalty 12M Fixed Rate - July 23 Issue 1" to their "Next Secure Fixed 12m v4" and did not incur any fees. You should be OK.

Cheers for that much appreciated. I noticed that 12 month fix has gone just the 24m version now.

    Thanks

I switched from a Loyalty to Pledge and they did initially apply, but then refunded, the exit fees.

This happened quite quickly, as I was going to contact them, but then didn't need to.

ETA - I've just checked, it took just 3 days for the exit fees to be refunded, without being prompted.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.98% of current retirement "pot" (as at end April 2025)

I’m currently on this tariff. I’ve had a Quick Look at my options and the Next Fixed 12m v10 is tempting me.

    Gas: 5.91p & 31.56p
    Elec: 22.89p & 67.44p

I was going to sit it out and drop on to the NextFlex which drops on Apr 1st but taking in to consideration my still fairly high usage in March the immediate savings are now making the Next Fixed 12m v10 a very competitive option. I don’t think prices are going to drop much over the next 6-9 months.

Interested to know if people are jumping on to new fixes at these sub-6p gas rates.
