You're writing in a rather confusing manner, but if you have your own lawyer, why aren't you getting advice from them?caldi9 said:
It has been more than 8 weeks and they haven’t sent the replacement device.born_again said:
You really need to add some time frame. As they have 8 weeks to respond to a complaint.caldi9 said:
They don’t even respond. We went to the ombudsman. We may sent a letter from the lawyer. They are clearly in the wrong.Ectophile said:Start off with a formal complaint. Then the Financial Ombudsman if they still don't resolve it.
Where does "lawyer" come into this?Do you think I pay twice the premium for no reason? How can there not be a lawyer involved? Ombudsman takes a long time.2 -
A court may consider the ombudsman to be the proper channel at this stage. That may add to the delay unnecessarily. The courts service try to minimise the number of cases going through, hence why mediation is pushed so much. If there is a system outside the courts, the courts will expect you to use that first.caldi9 said:
