UKPC letter parking charge. Pay or not?

I recently received a letter to pay a parking charge for £60 on a retail park carpark Preston, Lancashire.
They claim I was in a disabled car parking space when I took my daughter swimming but the paint was very faded I could hardly see it so I assumed it wasn’t a disabled space anymore, plus the space itself was that far away from the front door I don’t believe it would’ve benefited anybody.
Is there any ruling around not paying the fine, also is there any ruling around the clarity of paint of a disabled space. I will take a picture tomorrow and upload

It is not a fine.
At this stage, the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES has all the answers you need so far.
The private parking industry is unregulated, so there are no rules save the ones the PPCs make themselves. UKPC signs are always inadequate with the charge for breaching their Ts and Cs in tiny font and unreadable. Surfaces markings come under signage, and the BPA CoP has specific requirements about signage, so get photos of the site and signage, including the entrance, plus one so that the signs can be read, one from a car length showing that it can't be read, the surface markings of the bay where the vehicle was parked, and photos that show whether or not there was at least one sign readable from a vehicle parked in an accessible bay, the latter being a BPA CoP requirement.
Plan A is always a complaint from the keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP.
Plan B is to appeal using the template in blue text you will find in the NEWBIES.
Plan C is an appeal to PoPLAI married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -

Here are the images from the space I was in.Is there something anywhere that shows how the disabled space should be lined and pained. For me this is not clear enough. I hadn’t event known it was a spot due to the poor signage on the floor.Pic 1 shows the way I drove to get into the space. Of which I can just about see a sign for disabled parking. pic 2 shows the space I was parked in0
