Plan A Success

I got a parking ticket from G4S who had tried charging me for an 11 minute stay in a car park, when shopping had occurred in B&M. The receipt had been scanned at the parking machine but somehow a ticket had come through. 

I followed the advice on the newbie thread and contacted B&M to complain and provided proof of purchase. B&M contacted G4S and the ticket was immediately waived. Confirmation from G4S arrived today.

    Well done, and thanks for letting us know. If possible, please tell us the location of the store and the contact details of the person/department who instructed the cancellation in case it is of use to other posters.

  • It was an email to B&M customer services. The location was Cavendish Retail Park in Keighley. 
    I did have to push for them to get G4S to send a letter though, despite B&M confirming that G4S had waived the charge. So persistence is key.
