Whirlpool Currys and uplift Code

I was hoping to post on the forum an issue/problem with whirlpool and Curry’s Ltd, looking for advice. I brought a hotpoint fridge freezer online from Currys five years ago when the compressor broke in Oct/November last year. Though the manufacturers guarantee had run out the ten year part’s guarantee was still in force so I paid £175 to whirlpool for an engineer to fix it.
It took a while and the engineer fitted a compressor which lasted for 3 days in January, the next engineer said it was now unfixable because of the broken compressor and whirlpool eventually gave me an uplift code. Curry’s, are refusing to honor it like for like and are suggesting they’d be prepared to pay £61.36 as a depreciated credit.
I have returned to whirlpool who say it’s a like4like and should be credited to over £500 ( ie. The cost of the first fridge freezer.
Can the forum or yourselves provide any advice, I seem to be at an impasse. I’m just about to start chemo and radiotherapy and need a working fridge-freezer.

What does the warranty state happens in the case of it being unrepairable?
Under your statutory rights with Curry's they would be able to deduct use from the value of a refund but it sounds like you want to claim from Whirlpool's warranty not your statutory rights?1 -
Understood, that’s why whirlpool gave me an uplift code, but Curry’s are failing to honour it?0
