House Insurance Repair to pebbledash

Hi all, need some advice please on some insurance works done at my property. My property is an end terrace house with a big gable end wall thats got pebble dash on. Last June, a car ended up hitting our pebbledashed gable end wall and coming through the 2 layer of bricks and more or less into our living room. Insurance have repaired the inside and now the outside, however the new pebble dash looks a lot newer than the rest of the wall. So currently the house looks ridicilous as 90% of it is a old dull colour of pebbledash and the new part is brand new sparkling white pebble dash. After speaking to the loss adjustors, they said that my policy with esure is to just replace/repair whats been damaged and therefore cant pebble dash the whole wall to make it match. Surely they cant leave it looking stupidly different? I was proposing to ask them to paint the gable end wall so atleast it all looks 1 colour but wanted some opinions/views if this is a good idea to ask them and what is the likelyhood of them actually agreeing? Thanks

If you didnt have matching set insurance then they are only responsible for repairing what is damaged... a complaint is likely to make them give a 50% contribution towards you paying for the rest to be replaced.
If you claimed directly from the third party insurer then you are only entitled to indemnification which would mean only the damaged bit being replaced.
There are hundreds of threads on people having to patch their pebbledash for one reason or another and complaining about the difference in look. Universally the recommendation is either to wait, it will get dirty in a winter or two or paint it all.0 -
Previous house was pebble dashed - we had it painted a few years before we moved. There were a few bits that were blown & the person painting our house found someone to do the repairs who was able to match the stones perfectly (apparently it must have been pebble dashed in the 1970's). Although we obviously didn't have to worry about the colour matching because it was being painted, these newly repaired parts blended perfectly (and a couple of parts that had been re pebble dashed a few years earlier were still noticeably different to the rest).0
