It may be peanuts if you actually get the property. I just hope you realise you're getting no assurance of that and it could well just be £600 down the drain.Noraw10 said:

Tell Redbrik the searches are out of date and you will either pay the fee once they are updated or pay the fee minus the cost of the searches0 -

Yep - but the problem with that is that if the buyer pulls out, they lose the £600 (in addition to the other lost costs).
So, for example...- If it turns out that the seller has told 'a pack of lies' about the property, so the buyer decides to pull out
- Or the seller messes about for such a long time that the buyer gives up and pulls out
... then the buyer loses their £600
But maybe a buyer would accept the risk of losing £600.
(As opposed to the Modern Method of Auction where the buyer would lose a minimum of £6k)
