EDF EV Tariff - lock it in now or wait until the new price cap starts in April?
We've just got an electric car, I'm with EDF currently and obviously they have an EV tariff.
I was wondering if its worth locking myself into that now (given its a £150 exit fee in total), or is it likely that the EDF EV tariff will reduce in price once the Apr 2024 price cap kicks in?

Have you compared that to Octopus Intelligent tariff?
Which is not tied to a term.Life in the slow lane1 -
I expect that the day rate on the EV tariffs will decrease in April, but I would not expect the night/EV charge rate to go down.1

Yes - I'm currently weighing up all options. Obviously the simplest is to stay with EDF and change to the EV tariff, so just wanted opinions on whether people think the rates (mainly peak) will change in Apr.0 -

If you're not already with Octopus then you can get £50 for joining so it's even better to switch.0
