Hi,
I need some advice please. My mum has been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer and is under the palliative care team.
She has moved in with my family and my wife is taking care of her. I just wanted to know what benefits are available to us.
Can I claim a council tax benefit?
Thank you in advance.

I'd suggest you contact a Macmillan Welfare Adviser, who will be able to help your mum make a PIP or AA claim and can advise on other aspects (including your situation) when they have full details of your mum's circumstances.
Ask the palliative team for a referral or:

For your wife - look at Carer's Allowance or if you are in receipt of UC the carers element.
