Dropped off an item (value £130) for DPD at my local Post Office (which is also a DPD collection point).
As its a small post office, they tend to tell customers to place their boxes by a cage at the side of the small store so its easier to collect by the courier. Always nervous to do this as its in open reach of anyone else!
Anyways, dropped off parcel - have receipt etc.
Its been 4 days now.
DPD tracking tells me the item has been dropped to the pickup location.
However its never moved from here.
Contacted the Post Office who tell me their DPD items were picked up already.
They also said its impossible for someone to pick it up and walk out the store.
They have said to just contact DPD.
Contact DPD and after entering the code a recorded message just says the item hasn't been picked up yet.
So I have no idea where it is with both companies bouncing me off each other.
What do I do next please?!

Forgot to mention - it was an item return, so the label was provided by Sony Interactive.....0

In the past I've had a few DPD parcels that have not tracked but have still been delivered. If your printer is low on ink or toner and the barcode is a bit faint or blurred this can sometimes cause a problem scanning. Do you have any reference so you can see if Sony already have it?

Went back to the PO today and spoke to the person I gave it to last week - she said it was collected on Friday afternoon, and the courier could not scan the package, hence took it as it was.
When I log in to my Sony account it just shows the standard DPD tracking info, which states its at the drop off point still!
Strange as I use my thermal label printer for all labels, and never had any issues before - and the lady at the PO counter scanned it fine when she took it in!
Have contacted Sony who have opened a case and said they will get back to me within 5 days, so its a waiting game for now I guess!0 -
Still no further update.
DPD tracking shows item dropped off at Post Office on 23rd Feb - and thats it.
Post Office tell me that the DPD driver collected the parcel and he couldn't scan it for whatever reason, so took it as it was. Seems like its never been scanned anywhere since.
Still waiting on Sony to get back to me after they've investigated, so giving it until the end of this week.....1 -
Thankfully Sony called me today and stated although they are still investigating with DPD, rather then keep me waiting they've issued me with the refund. So issue resolved (for me anyways!).0
