Hi everyone,
Nanny, I'm sorry you had a bit of an ordeal, hopefully everything will go smoothly from now on.
taff and WL I'm almost on the bus route to Cambridge. We're twenty miles away so we go often and visitors always appreciate it. In fact I used to work at the Churchill Archive centre in the University, a very different place to work!
SO, well done you, letting them know what happened.
It's my Esther day but she is napping atm. We've played with play doh (she watches the things Esben does and wants to do the same), read books, gone out for a toddle, watched an episode of In the Night Garden, she has an Upsy Daisy doll that she loves and had lunch. Laura is amazed at the difference in her play compared to Esben, she puts the doll to bed, washes her face etc, Esben was uninterested in dolls and was all about the vehicles. I did tell her that she and Chris were totally different but I don't think she believed me.
Have a good day.

Hi all, late because I had a trip to town to get some veg from my man on the market, also picked up some lamb chops and a side of salmon. Then I went in the newly refurbed library and chose a couple of books. Got some cash from the bank, then that was me home again on the bus. Cheese & broccoli soup for lunch.Excitement while I was out- apparently next door but 1 could smell gas so a man had been checking the cottages. Apparently DDog was most put out about being distubed from her sleep & there was some loud barking until she got bribed
Nothing was found thankfully apart from a no longer used old gas main pipe that he says he'll get taken away from the end house.
S-O I'm glad someone got back to you with helpful info.Nanny that sounds like a trying visit to the hospital. I hope they don't mess up your op date!Dp1, I hope little one is getting better.Taff, soup sounds good- I was pleased with my latest batch, meant to have stilton in but I had none so used cheddar, DH said he prefers itRight I might start 1 of the library books, tempted to lie under my heated throw, I love itTake care poorlies, sad or worried - hugs winging their way to you x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Afternoon everyone
Lovely and sunny here today but the wind is getting up again.
SO - I'm pleased you got that phone call, you'll be more relaxed about going next time now.
I've had little one this morning for a few hours so DD could go to work - she has eaten a very small amount today, so that's good and is having her milk feeds 4 times a day too. After she'd had her milk feed at lunchtime, my mam walked up the hill and we walked down, so now she's there until DD gets home from work about 3.30pm. I'm now comfy on my bed, so very achy but having her did cheer me up...I've told my boss I won't be back at work till Monday. Little one spent ages this morning making a mother's day card ready for DD and a birthday card for great grandad for next week.
Oh, no sooner did I mention sunshine than it's started chucking it down!
I'm going to finish reading Sunday's paper - hope everyone has a good day x8
