ISA question

Can't work out if this action is possible - can anyone help?

I have a Fixed Rate ISA maturing in the new tax year and will want to transfer this into either a new or other (existing) ISA with another provider. Can I then add further funds to the new account using the new tax year allowance? This means there will be two payments in but only new money for that year.

Thanks

You can pay new money into an ISA containing funds from a previous year, for as long as the account terms permit that - most fixed rate ones will only have a short initial funding window.

Yes you can. Provided that you transfer your existing ISA money and do not withdraw to your bank then make a new subscription.
