Very little above £0 in my case. Not worth getting excited about anyway.

If it's a mid term adjustment the admin fee is likely to be the overwhelming majority of anything you have to pay.

OP, I've had Business Class 1 use on my car for nearly 30 years. It wouldn't cover taking passengers to school. You'd either need normal SDP&C at one end, or you'd need commercial insurance at the other. The former would apply if it is a private arrangement and not for reward (beyond any reasonable costs agreement). If the driving of kids to school was part of the employees job, then the driver would need commercial insurance as they are carrying passengers for reward. BC cover won't cut it.

Business Class 1,2, and 3 don't cover carrying passengers for reward. Class 1 is your basic doing a bit of driving at work, so driving between sites, collecting supplies from a shop etc. and is for the policy holder only. Class 2 is basically the same but covers named drivers as well. Class 3 is more for your travelling sales people types, or health visitors etc. who do a lot of driving for work. Taxi drivers (which is what this basically is) have to have commercial insurance which isn't going to be cheap.

FWIW, Business Class 1 on my policy is negligible cost. Had it so long I don't know how much it costs but it is going to be between £0 and £20 at the most.
