Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Still dark, cold, drier day forecast.
Dinner yesterday was chicken casserole with pasta. Tonight I'm not sure.

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd better post before the mayhem starts. The family reunion returned yesterday evening and the house instantly became chaos. Not only that because they both had late naps in the car neither was able to sleep. Esben didn't manage to go to sleep till midnight. I predict two cranky people today and that's just the parents.
We expected some solar panel fitters on Saturday to do the snagging but they didn't arrive. They came yesterday instead so it's a good job we were in.
Talking about solar panels the ones at the distribution centre where Chris works went on fire on Friday. As well as being logistics manager he is the fire officer so ended up going up to the roof with the fire brigade. He ended up working silly hours this weekend so I hope he can get some time off soon
Blood test this morning so I'd better get going.
Have a good day.

Morning all
Cold and windy here, temperatures definitely seem to have dropped. No huge plans this morning and taking DM out for tea and cake this afternoon while DF has a U3A meeting. Some craft shop orders to sort later.Hope everyone is well and enjoys the week aheadAA13 -
Morning all - it's a very cold and frosty morning, the upside is that the light is here already. It makes such a difference to my mood. My SIL rang from Oz earlier (whilst it was still dark) so we had a lovely long chat, another good thing to start the day.Later on I'm off to my exercise class then I've got post and parcels to open.I hope that all are well and warm.11

Morning All
Happy Birthday Gers! Hope you have a fabulous day celebrating your big birthday.
Very cold and frosty here this morning but the sun is shining and it promises to be a lovely day. I put the washing out at 7am, it was nearly light!
Great day yesterday out in the garden, I got the greenhouse glass washed inside and out - it was absolutely filthy. I also tidied up some of the dead leaves and pruned a few things (no idea what I'm doing, just like chopping stuff up!). There's certainly signs of life out there especially the tulips. Did you get any more crocus Ruby?
Sounds like a long weekend for Chris snoozer, hope there isn't too much damage.
Hope the poorlies are getting better.
Must go, I'm at work! Take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It feels much milder this morning and no frost. It was so cold over the w/e I had the heating on constantly.
Happy big birthday GERS. Have a fabulous day. And take heart, it's not as big as my up and coming one!!
It was lovely to have the girls for most of the w/e but by the time they left last night I felt shattered! They are no bother at all other than wanting feeding constantly! The bane of my life - the blooming freezers! - are in desperate need of a good sort out today after a w/e of rummaging and shoving stuff back where it doesn't belong! I might even waste my time and make out yet another inventory!!
Other than that I think I will have a lazy day watching catch up of what I missed over the w/e. Have a good day folks if you can and copious ((HUGS)) for all the poorlies, sad, worried and lonely. And our MIA too, who are still missing. I hope there is nothing amiss in their lives. Take care all, be safe xx

Good morning all. The sun's shining here so I hope it lasts.
DH is out to lunch with his friends today so I'm going to have a free trip to Cambridge on my old biddy's bus pass, Unfortunately, these days, it means changing buses in Bedford, so will take a bit longer. I hope to do one of the Museums and have a general wander and some lunch somewhere.
Happy birthday to Gers! I hope you have an enjoyable day and maybe treat yourself to a wee something.
And Izzy - your last week at work has finally come! I hope you're going to block their number as from 5pm Friday!
Hope the sun is shining wherever you all are.10
