Strangely during Brexit the Sat Nav directions to our house changed.  It now directs people up a private, unmade road leading to the local Bowling Club - which our garden backs on to.  From there you can’t drive anywhere else and can’t reach our house.  Does anyone know if there is anyway we can get these directions corrected to how they were before pls?!  Ty.

    I don't think you can.
I remember going to a tourist attraction and coming across official looking road signs saying "Do not follow Sat-nav directions down this road for.....". My Sat-nav was telling to go down that very narrow residential road!

Devon and Dorset are the same. Don't always follow your Sat Nav. Can take you down some interesting routes.

Who provides the mapping software?  Maybe try and contact them and explain the issue and ask them to correct it.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

  • With google maps, for example, you can let them know about errors in directions etc on their web page
  • Not sure about all, but certainly Garmin and Apple Maps let you suggest corrections

Is it all sat navs that are having the same issue?

Sometimes using a slightly different postcode directs you to the correct place

It may not answer the question but What3Words will direct people to a precise location
