Admiral multi car insurance.

Oddest ive come across...

they dont ask who owns the car or who is the registered keeper
they dont ask what address the car is registered at
the cost on 1 policy went UP when a driver came OFF the policy
they were the cheapest but wanted £300 for breakdown for 3 cars
(dodged that one)

the rules are now, there are no rules?

Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...

I have 2 cars on Admiral multi and was asked all those questions. I think they can find it out at their fingertips on line as you speak to them anyway.
Yes if a less risky driver is removed, it will go up.
Re breakdown, do it with the actual breakdown organisation.

How do they find out who the owner or registered keeper of a car is online?

A car isn't registered at an address. The registered keeper is.

The rules are the same as they always were.

Any insurer could quote you whatever they liked. You are free to take that quote up or take your business and money elsewhere, to a competitor that gives you a quote you prefer.

I suspect Admiral Multi-car requires all vehicles to be registered to the same address hence no need for them to ask that as a question. Owner/Keeper is an increasingly irrelevant question with the amount of vehicles on finance.

It's normal for premiums to increase if you remove a good risk driver, particularly if they are your spouse.

The rules are the same as they always were, you may not understand them and they are not as broad as you may think

It costs £2.50 from the DVLA to get the name and address of the registered keeper - there is no volume discounting. Back in my day it took a week to get the response but suspect that is now quicker (can definitively say the price is the same)

Would be very expensive if you did a check on every vehicle you quote on given the tiny percentage that go from quote to bind.
