But the golden rule I am reading is dont just pay right - get it set aside? We are the 12th today, the judgement was issued Feb 15th so with the '4 days clearance' caveat, we have to put in a set aside claim otherwise the best we will have is a satisfied CCJ

Either:

pay it in full before day 30 (CCJ wiped)

or

resolve to get it set aside but act promptly and you need to know that the latter DOESN'T freeze or stop the CCJ.  Your credit rating will take a hit.  There's no guarantee of a set aside.
