Ooo Gary Davies! Headbands, leg warmers and shell suits at the ready, because the legendary radio presenter is bringing his BBC Radio 2 Sounds of The 80s: The Live Tour with Gary Davies to the Cambridge Corn Exchange this March and we’ve got two tickets to give away to local 80s music fans!
If you love the BBC Radio 2 Saturday night show then you’ll be in 80s heaven on the 8 March at 7pm. Brilliant DJ Gary Davies will take you back in time four decades (yes it was that long ago!) with his master mixes of 80s classics (think Wham!, Queen, Prince, Madonna, Whitney and more). Plus there’ll be dancers performing iconic moves from the era and there may even be a surprise visit from an 80s icon or two. Past shows have seen celebrated artists such as Altered Images’ Clare Grogan, Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s Holly Johnson, T’pau’s Carol Decker, Five Stars’ Deneice Pearson, Jaki Graham, and Then Jericho’s Mark Shaw take to the stage alongside Gary’s gang.
