Change S&S ISA from UK to world

Hi
I currently have £15k invested in a stocks and shares ISA which holds L&G UK 100 Index Trust, a FTSE 100 tracker. I don't think the UK is the best place for this money and should probably have it in a World tracker? Is there a right or a good world index tracker I should be looking at, or are they all much of a muchness? FTSE world, MSCI world, etc.?

There are some differences in which countries they will use and some may hold some smaller companies as well as the very large ones, but in my view it's much more important to make sure that you're investing enough money for your needs than it it is in choosing which exact global fund you use (provided you use a mainstream fund house).

Take a look at  https://monevator.com/best-global-tracker-funds/ for their thoughts on global funds. I personally use the income version of the HSBC FTSE All-World Index fund, but there is also an Accumulation version that you may prefer for simplicity.

Hi, many thanks for replying. The monevator link is brilliant - I didn't even think about emerging markets or developed! Great, now I need to decide about that too, lol.
