SATURDAY NIGHT TAKEAWAY PRIZE DRAW 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the Saturday Night Takeaway programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, post and online via: (i) the QR code showing during the on screen promotion (to be redirected to www.itv.com/win) (“QR Code”)  or (ii)  the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 23 February 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online at 9.00am on Tuesday 12 March 2024.  
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 14 March 2024. 

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within twenty-four (24) hours of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.
• The prize is time critical and the winner will be contacted in accordance with Clause 5.2 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms.  All entrants must be contactable on Friday 15 March 2024, Monday 18 March 2024 and Tuesday 19 March 2024.

This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each call costs £2.00 plus your network access charge.

 

• SMS text – send an SMS text with the keyword WIN or WINNER to 68300; up to fifteen (15) paid entries per phone number. Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message.  Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable).   • Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a Winsday Prize Draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you (unless you are entering via Rich Communications Services (RCS)). 
  • Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website. 
  • Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.
  • Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.
  • Debit Card: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your debit card. Please note that use of a debit card may incur charges from your provider.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

 

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry.

There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in this Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

Where you opt to enter through one of the promoted paid entry routes, ITV must have received evidence of payment of any costs (as notified to ITV by the applicable payment provider) relating to the entry (as set out in the on screen promotion and these terms and conditions) by the time that ITV conducts the winner selection in accordance with the Winner Selection & Contact section above. Any entry that does not meet this criterion will be incomplete, invalid and ineligible to win the prize.

Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize of £50,000 and a campervan. 

 

(i) £50,000 cash 

 

This element of the prize consists of £50,000 (fifty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

 

(ii) A campervan

 

This element of the prize consists of a T32 Highline 204 DsG Volkswagen Transporter in Deep Black Pearl (“Campervan”) including twelve (12) months Road Fund Licence, first registration fee and £30 worth of fuel (diesel). 

 

The winner will also receive an allowance of £1,500 (one thousand, five hundred pounds), made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

The winner will have the choice of the either: 

1. collecting the Campervan at at Vanworx’s dealership on Saturday 23 March 2024 and be part of the live episode of the Programme;
2. having the Campervan delivered to their home address on Saturday 23 March 2024 and be part of the episode of the live Programme; 
3. collecting the Campervan at Vanworx’s dealership with a formal handover within one (1) month of receipt of all correct and valid documentation from the winner; or 
4. having the Prize delivered to their home address, within one (1) month of receipt of all correct and valid documentation from the winner. 

 

Such documentation referenced in options (iii) and (iv) includes without limitation a valid insurance cover note to register the Campervan and a current driver’s licence (“Documentation”). Please note that if the winner wishes to collect or receive the Campervan on Saturday 23 March 2024 in accordance to (i) and (ii) above, the winner must provide the Documentation to Vanworx by Wednesday 20 March 2024.  The winner is responsible for insuring the prize and all other costs associated with taking-up with prize. The winner may choose to register the Campervan in another person’s name subject to receipt of correct and valid documentation for that person.

 

Please note that the Campervan will include mileage for promotional purposes.  

 

If the winner wishes to collect the Campervan at Vanworx’s dealership or receive the Campervan at their home address on Saturday 23 March 2024 in accordance with options (i) and (ii) above, the winner confirms that: 

• they consent to the Programme’s production team visiting their home address or filming them at Vanworx’s dealership, as applicable, live on air on Saturday 23 March 2024 and for your name, general location, and details of the prizes that you have won to be announced in the Programme, on the Website, on social media platforms and/or elsewhere at the Promoter’s discretion. This is in addition to the Promoter’s rights under clause 9.5 of the General Terms;
• in respect of option (ii) only, they have the permission to film inside and outside their home (which, where applicable, may require the written permission from the landlord, other occupiers, neighbours, owner or agent of the landlord or the owner to allow the filming to take place). The Promoter may choose to film on the doorstep or outside the property in the Promoter’s own discretion; 
• they have permission from all the occupants of the property or the person(s) accompanying them at Vanworx’s dealership to allow filming and their consent to be shown live on TV. If any children are present, then the winner should ensure they have the written consent of their parent or legal guardian; and

By choosing option (i) or (ii) above, the winner confirms that you they have the relevant permissions, as set out in these terms and conditions, and that they consent to being filmed by ITV live on television at their home address or the Vanworx’s dealership (as applicable).
