Home Insurance - EPMD roof

Has anyone got any recommendations for insurers that will cover a house with EPMD rubber roof? Had no problem through the AA however they've stopped working with that insurer and no struggling to find a company that will cover and at a decent price.

Many thanks

Try policyexpert for one I recall they cover flat roofs without a fuss but it's a while since I used them. There are others.

Which insurer? There will be other brokers with that insurer on their panel.

Thanks but have spoken to the specific insurer separately and they will not insure.

We have been covered with Admiral for a few years. We rang them and explained we have a total flat roof (although ours is felt).  Mind you, we always have this nagging doubt that the person who answers the phone doesn't totally understand.  At one point we were covered with More Than and the paperwork always said a flat roof wasn't covered - so each time we phoned up and pointed out we have a flat roof and each time they said 'oh yes, we know, it's on your file.'  Doesn't fill you with confidence though.
  • Many thanks - I should add this is a pitched roof, not flat.

Oh, OK - sorry, I just assumed it was a flat roof - didn't realise you could use EPDM on a pitched roof.
