Car Insurance question

Hi,
I bought a 2020 Honda Jazz from cargaint last year and opted for a 1 year warranty. Earlier this year I didn't use the car for 15 days during the cold spell and the car was parked in my driveway. Once I came back to drive the car, I found that the brake felt funny and there were a lot of warning indicators on the dashboard. I called AA and took the car to the Honda garage. It so happens that my brake simulation unit is gone and needs to be replaced. The car part is covered under warranty which is good. However the part will not be available till June 2nd this year. Ouch. Happy to have a courtesy car in the mean while.
Thank you.

- The garage doesn't have any spare ones as all the repairs are taking long. There is a long wait for the it, even longer than the repair.
- The company issuing warranty does not give out a courtesy car as it's not part of the policy.
- The insurance company claims that there was no accident so this is not covered their policy. (I have a comprehensive policy with them)
Thank you.

What is a brake simulation unit? Is that the same as the brake servo?0
-
Apparently brake simulation unit is the modern electronic equivalent of brake servo.0
