Need new (small) kitchen. Recommendations?

My kitchen is coming to the end of its life and I want to replace it completely.

It only occupies a small area at the moment (studio flat), 150 x 248 cm, although the 150 could be extended (basically fits into a room corner).

I once had a joiner specially create a kitchen for me (wooden) and I liked the result because it was "mine". On the other hand, I can maybe buy a kitchen, but I am not sure who is the best for me? I am not desperately constrained by price.

I have had a look online with various firms and all I see is grey, beige, bland brown and, at the very best, cream. I like bold primary colours and do not want grey at all (I get quite enough of that by just looking out the window...).

    I see "high-gloss dark red-brown" at IKEA
  • I have recently bought the heritage green from DIY-kitchens. Good quality, but nowhere near a hand built one.

Have you used the pluck kitchens before? Look really good but what’s the price like for them? Thanks

If the current doors are salvageable, they could be resprayed any colour you like.

They're not cheap.  They are bespoke.  Cheaper than many bespoke kitchens but more than the average kitchen.  They're solid ply and look like they'd last forever.

Thanks - can I be cheeky and ask for a ballpark figure? TIA

It's a bit hard, because every kitchen is different!  We were quoted around £20k, units only.
