Cannot log on my Abbey account.

I am trying to log on to my Abbey credit card online account for days now, it always results in an Error Processing Request in English or Spanish.
Is it only me or has anyone else has the same problem?
Ok, it's Christmas and it might create difficulties here and there, but I can log on on any of my Non Abbey online accounts without difficulties.

Hi Spark - I can log onto my Abbey account, and my mortgage account with them no problem.
Personally, I've never had a problem with the Abbey, or their website.

I can log onto my bank account online (debit card) without problems, it is my Credit Card online account I cannot log onto. Since I got the log in details at the end of november, I could only log onto it once, now it's days I'm trying to get to see my Credit Card account online, still that spanish error processing request is coming up.:mad:
I would like to know if it's at my end or if others have the same difficulties as me, I will not use the Santander credit card until that problem is solved. Especially since they seem to have some problems sending the statements on time.0 -
Hi Spark. Its nice to finally find out that its not my PC at fault!! I too have an Abbey current account which i can log into perfectly OK. I also have an Abbey (Santander) Credit Card and, like yourself, can not log in. I've managed to log in 3 times since the middle of November. Its bloody ridiculous!! I tried to ring them yesterday but couldn't get hold of anyone as I also have only received 1 statement from them and that was on the 1st November!! I bet when i finally get through to them, they will blame it on there new computer systems.....how long can they keep using this excuse!!! How many months have they been implementing their 'new system' which can't even speak English in its Error messages!! :mad:0

Thanks DannoUK, at least I know that it's not me or a log in mistake. It seems we are the only ones to have had the bad idea to get a Santander card.
It cannot be us, I can log in to all my other online accounts without problems.
I am just not using the card until they sort this one out. I wonder how many people have applied for the Santander card and cancelled it already. People will end up with a late payment on their credit report for no fault of their own if they don't even send the statements regularly and on time.
I've read somewhere that they were changing computer system since 2006, really I think they owed to be on track by now, but obviously not.0 -

I have an abbey credit card and I couldn't get online either...I phoned them and they said it won't be working for a while because they are sorting the website...that was 3 wks ago....Since it changed hands I've never been able to get on!You may walk and you may run

They are simply rubbish. I couldn't log in then suddenly i got the message ring 0845........to get a new security number. I did this and eventually they told me i'd have to wait 10-14 days to have a number sent to me by post.
I'll be paying off the balance this month and closing the account.0
