Hi I have come across a huge problem and want to know if anyone has experience the same or what I can do about it. I have been with LV car insurance for 4 years. I have decided to move to Tesco who wanted proof of NCD. When I have gone to send it the NCD is in my named drivers name?????? When I have rung them to query they said yes the NCD is in the named drivers name not yours???? How is this possible when it has been my policy and my name on the policy for 4 year? I am furious that this has never been made clear!!! Is there anything I can do???

If the policy is in your name then so should the NCD proof letter.
You should be named as the the main driver of the vehicle and anyone else named as an additional driver.
What exactly have you declared to LV ?0 -

Most insurers give the NCD to the policyholder but some apply it to the Named Driver if they aren't the Policyholder.
Have you asked LV why its theirs?0
