Hi,
I signed up to E.on next Next Loyalty Fixed v4 a while back but now with the announcement I need to change the tariff (there are no exit free, at least to switch to a different e.on tariff).
I signed up to E.on next Next Loyalty Fixed v4 a while back but now with the announcement I need to change the tariff (there are no exit free, at least to switch to a different e.on tariff).
I can fix for 24 or 12 months but there is an exit fee (£75 or £150 per fuel) which e.on say is a £10 saving per month.
Or I can change to a very slightly cheaper tariff (£2 pm) which is fixed but no exit fees.
What is everyone else thinking? Is the cap going to reduce further?

In the same position and the next v4 is almost on par with next flex.
Here's what we are doing, stay on v4, ours expires 01/07/2024. Wait till 01/04/2024 and see what deals are available on Eon or a few days after.
Remember cap is also going down in October too so factor this in and then we will decide.
Hope that helps.
Almost consideredNext Fixed 12m v9 No Exit Fees
Today too but with the saving of a £5 for a month, not really worth it.1 -
there is no exit fee if you switch to another EON tariff0

i switched to their price pledge thing back in December. They will charge you the £75 exit fee per utility, but it will be refunded within a couple of days, so don't worry when you see you balance is lower than you expect.0

It reads that there is an exit fee if you switch products so I will have to contact them and check0

I was told that the exit fee applied when switching products too.0

I messaged them (on WhatsApp) and was told ‘The early exit fee applies if you're changing supplier no fees if you're changing tariff within E.ON Next.’ So I have screenshot that message just encase and changed.Might be worth doing them same if you would like to change tariff too1

Please all consider when you look at new deals and they say £2 or £5 cheaper per month that they actually refer to your actual energy usage and not estimates.
So many people do not know their actual kWh usage and that is the key when considering deals and what is happening with the price cap and kWh prices.1
