Ombudsman Complaint

How do I go about Complaining about someone who dealt with my case at the Ombudsman? They have said my case would be live publically but its not. I've also asked them that I want Nationwide policies changed around joint accounts and let both parties aware. They said they would propose this but Ive not seen any changes. They are ignoring my emails now

Do you mean your decision published on their website? It can take a little while to do so but should happen. The ombudsman has no power to force Nationwide to change operational matters though. What is it you would like to see changed?0

You can complain about the FOS using the process they outline on their website:r5401 said:How do I go about Complaining about someone who dealt with my case at the Ombudsman? I am not sure what you want though - the FOS cannot force a private business like Nationwide to change their general policies if they are legal
I don't know how long the cases take to go online thoughSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Any Ombudsman decisions, but not Adjudicator, are published on their website with your name and any other companies other than the entity you complained about redacted to a single initial. Typically takes about a month or so after both parties have responded to the Ombudsman's decision for it to be published.r5401 said:How do I go about Complaining about someone who dealt with my case at the Ombudsman? Following on from what @section62 said, you may find calling them to be a good idea. They can then check if your investigator/ombudsman still works for them etc. and help out further.Section62 said:
IIRC someone else had an issue with emails not being responded to - it turned out the investigator/adjudicator had left FOS and the case hadn't been reallocated.r5401 said:They are ignoring my emails nowIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.
