Does anyone know how long it takes to obtain a copy of a will on probate search. I have paid my £1.50 today now waiting for document to be downloaded

Think it takes 48hrs from memory.0

When I did this as part of a genealogy thing with my sister to complete records for our family tree recently, we got one back almost immediately (the death was in the mid 2000s), the other took maybe a day or two (the death was in the mid 1990s). The one that took longer was on the old regional paper system and before records were routinely digitised.

I did some yesterday for the first time and found the system quite unintuitive. I got the emails quite quickly saying that the documents were ready to download, but only the invoices give a download link. For the others, you need to download from 'My Orders'. What confused me with my first order was that 'My Orders' didn't appear as a menu option until I had logged out and logged in again.0
