Hi.

Hopefully this is a simple thing. But I need to download a .pdf file from a website (to fill in and save then send via email), but when I downloaded it it opened in a browser and then when I tried saving it saved with the browser (*Microsoft Edge) icon.

Is there any quick fix for this? Or if I send it in this format to the intended recipient will the software at their end be able to open the .pdf again? Or do I have to sort this at my end?

Thanks.

*As a side note Microsoft edge isn't even my default browser.

its only showing as edge icon because thats your default pdf viewer, the recipient will have no issues opening the filled in file.

    Doesn't need to be.
All modern browsers can open PDF files.

Right-click on the PDF you want to save and then "Save As" or "Save Target As" depending on the browser you're using now to save it.
