Only got one pair of trousers hemmed as Ds’s dad called for a chat, it was nice to catch up. Sewing with Miss S was a bit less fun! She was trying to catch the tacking thread, actual hemming part not as bad but I was convinced she would jump on the needle at one point.

So tired… work has totally drained the life out of me. Day off tomorrow so plan to recharge although I will need to see my folks which is also draining, I think I need to book some time away.

    Sounds hard going …
Perhaps try and limit the amount of time you spend at your parents today? Invent an excuse to leave early …? 😉

Hope you do find somewhere to go to chill out. 😊

My mum is in a nursing home KK, so I visit her and my dad comes back to mine after for a while. We don’t stay too long, only a half hour or so but she’s not great so it is more emotionally draining than anything else. I will run this morning and it’s film night tonight so will catch up with my friend there - not all bad. But first there will be sofa time with the fluffy one🥰

Ah ... I get you ... So it's hard seeing your mum and then you have to help your dad process as well?

Hope the film is a good one, you have a nice time with your friend and please give Miss Spice a special scritch behind the ears from all her MSE aunties ;)
