The sky was amazing on the way home from my folks. I am outing myself as ancient here but at primary school we used to collect and swap scraps and it reminded me of the clouds the cherubs used to sit on. I then thought what an odd pastime😂 we collected these scraps and spent playtime looking at each other’s books and swapping😂 ahhh simpler times, obviously only on the days we weren’t being Charlie’s Angels😂Mortgage End Date: Apr 36/Aiming for Apr 28/Current Jan 34

Older than you but used to collect scraps and stick them in.......... a scrap book of course. I remember those cute wee chubby cherubs 👼🏼👼🏼 sitting on a cloud and sometimes playing a harp. As you say simple pleasures6

Teapot was obviously posher with a proper scrapbook but part of the fun was swapping so we couldn’t do that if they were fixed into a book.
Don’t like to jinx it but work is going well, utterly exhausting but going ok. Some of my faves are getting frail though, yes I shouldn’t have favourites but I treat every one equally just feel we gel better with some people than others so it’s hard when they go but nature of the job sadly.Mortgage End Date: Apr 36/Aiming for Apr 28/Current Jan 34

Can’t believe you have been on the seafront in this wind!I think you do an important job, sorry it is indeed does have its sadnessDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Very important role - and yes there are sadness and joys with it. I found a scrap book recently that I started in the late 70s...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

It’s Friday and I am off til Tuesday 🎉🎉🎉
Today was exhausting, spent the afternoon singing and dancing I suppose there are worse ways to make a living 😂 Came home and had a lovely Thai curry that I took out of the freezer hoping that was what it was as I never mark things when I freeze them🙄😂
Off into the big city tomorrow to meet a friend and looking forward to a nice lunch, a few drinks and a catch up.Mortgage End Date: Apr 36/Aiming for Apr 28/Current Jan 34
