Gateway Access denied

Hi All,

Is there a problem with the Tax Credits system...have been trying on and off since Dec 23 to alert a change and despite receiving the text codes on mobile, cannot log in...have sent HMRC complaint but also no response...Also, tried phoning on and off and left on hold although was asked for NI number and confirmed that was correct....and still left on hold till phone link by them disconnected....checked with Google who say that website is not down /no issues...am in despair!  Any advice welcome

Depending on how you are accessing this...
HMRC app - one step would be check there's no update due on the app. 
On line - clear your browsers cache, history etc,

These are simple steps you can take, it wont harm to do them anyway.   Obviously if the app is up to date then you may think about (in the extreme) deleting and reinstall the app.

Will try again...they have actually just come back with email and a code but again after inserting the 10 digit no. and my new password (again just now) no access just red bold lines that i have inserted wrong code and password...
