Yeah, they called me this morning and asked my what my gross salary was and I told them £104K, I asked twice if they are referring to the gross or after pension contribution and they said gross. The lady on the phone then said that since I am on the higher bucket she is going to reject my application but I can challenge the decision if I think it as not correct.

I don't know why they asked about salary as this isn't usually relevant for tax (or ANI) purposes!

I am not sure why, they told me that my application was flagged due to it being in the high income bucket and she needed to ask some queries to make a decision, the query was about the gross salary. I will challenge this decision and update this post. Thank you for your help with this, I very much appreciate it.
