Job loss payment protection insurance

I'd like to get insurance cover for job loss/redundancy but it seems there are hardly any policies out there.  Any suggestions/recommendations please?

They do not really exist as a product outside of income protection for the self-employed. My advice would be if you feel your job is insecure then you would be better off finding a new one.

ASU or Unemployment (aka PPI) had an exodus of providers during Covid as it's an annual policy so companies could just not offer renewals to people who'd been buying it for years. Some have returned since Covid but the market is tiny compared to what it once was.
