    Any suggestions from anyone?

Yes... please start your own thread.
  • I am going to court in January over this same very situation.
Argued it, they refused, went to mediation and they wouldn’t negotiate, so Oxford County  Court in January it is!
I’ll be fighting the whole way.

Glad to hear it. However, I repeat my statement in the post just before yours...
  • Hi, sorry im new here so not sure if my post requires a new thread or not.. I have received a parking charge from MET parking services but unsure how to proceed with the template to appeal. I went in and Mcdonalds was closed (for refurbishment I believe) so I found a disabled bay near starbucks and displayed my blue badge. I stayed for 32 minutes and never even got out the car, I was also parked under a sign which stated 60 minutes free parking and now they have sent through a charge for £100 (£60 if paid early)! Where do I stand with this & should I use the template? Ive seen lots of threads stating not to admit who was driving etc but not sure if this would work in my case, so thought Id ask before submitting anything. Many thanks in advance!

Hi, sorry im new here so not sure if my post requires a new thread or not.
Yes and no.  If you want specific assistance, please start a new thread.  Otherwise you can follow the standard "newbies" process appealing as keeper and pointing out this is not "relevant land" so no keeper liability.

I would guess the charge was issued for parking without going in to Starbucks, so "not a customer", but you know they make their own rules up to suit their agenda which is extracting cash from motorists.

Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

You haven't been 'summoned' to court and nobody with a DCB Legal claim for MET, for a single PCN has a hearing. They discontinued.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"so Oxford County  Court in January it is! "

Oxford County Court are not impressed by money scammers and MET PARKING at Stansted is a mega money making scam.

DCBL with discontinue their rubbish before they get a court spanking where you can claim your costs

I am seeking professional assistance in preparing a defence to HM Courts & Tribunals Service regarding a parking charge I believe to be unjust and I am absolutelty serious. I am willing to hire a solicitor or pay for expert support, as this issue may affect many others who have been similarly misled.

The dispute concerns signage and boundary clarity at a location referred to as "Southgate Park," which includes Costa and McDonald's premises. The lack of clear demarcation between car parks creates confusion, especially in low-light conditions. On the date in question, we parked believing it was a shared retail car park. Costa was closed, and we departed within 30 minutes and 7 seconds. However, CCTV footage was used to allege an overstay in a "free" car park that was not actually free at the time.

I believe the signage is misleading and contributes to widespread misunderstanding. I would also like to explore whether others are willing to join efforts to challenge these practices and advocate for clearer signage and the reimbursement of improperly issued charges.

Please see the attached documentation for reference. I have stacked the two last letters on each other.

@Daniels7, you may have noticed when reading through this thread that FOUR other posters have been asked to start their own thread, this also applies to you as it get confusing trying to answer more than one person on the same thread especially when that thread started over a year ago.  When you start your own thread with the same attachments as you have posted here, I can tell you that: -
With an issue date of 30/09/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 05/10/25 and before 19/10/25
your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 03/11/25
