Moto G8 incoming calls can not hear me.

Really odd one. When recieving incoming calls the caller can not hear me. When I call them all works as you would expect. This has happended twice and only on calls through the phone not whatsapp calls. Any ideas seems odd that it is on incoming calls which are very rare.

On my MotoG, before it upgraded to Android 12, the mute button was too close to my ear when I was on calls with folk.Just a random query, you're not pressing on this by accident, are you?0

Have you tried making a call via speakerphone?
I too think you are pressing the mic mute button when it's pressed to your ear0
