Change of Address & Credit Card App Help

I have just moved into a new properly and looking at getting a 0% credit card for purchasing white good etc. Can I apply right away or do I need to wait for change of address to be sort of live (have changed my address for with bank etc). Don't want to apply, be rejected and have this negatively impact my credit.
