I like my Lenovo I got from John Lewis. A couple of years back so things will have changed but it does everything I need word, excel, youtube....

This Dell should easily do what you describe and is a good spec for the money which at £349 is well under your budget. You can increase some specs if you wished and still be in budget.

Unless you need (or want) the latest processor etc I would be looking at a decent refurbished laptop from a reputable supplier. Dell Outlet is a good place to start but there are other companies to look at as well.0
