Technical Analysis Book

Hello you wonderful and intelligent people that make up this forum. I sincerely hope things are going well for you.

I have recently ordered a book on Technical Analysis for helping me understand the various cycles the stock market goes through and how people do short term investing. I am wanting to understand the basics of Technical Analysis and how i can apply it. Some books sadly dont provide you the full overview of information on the subject. Can i please ask after reading the book how i would find out what additional topics i would need to learn to improve my skills please and what books or websites has this information? If anyone kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.

A while back you posted that you were attending a course on this subject - which course was it and was helpful? Also it's quite hard for us to know what isn't covered by a book if you don't provide the information about the book you are talking about - what was it and what did it cover?
