Morning all
It already feels like the evening……early dentist appt which was more uncomfortable than I expected……now have a delightful temporary ‘thing’ which is peach coloured (so they can make sure they remove it all when the permanent one is done in two weeks, apparently!); B Dog has had his annual vaccinations and nearly came home with the vet’s hand too (whoops!) however she declared him fit, healthy and an ‘excellent chap’.Now to a trip into the loft and then some craft shop work. Part time job work this evening, might be 💤 by then!Gers good luck with the referral
Dp1 great to hear little one is home

Morning all, we have had awful rain during the night which lashed the windows and it's still raining hard ! I'm glad I don't have to go out today. I had another bad night and my cough is back, I must be allergic to something or someone (I'm looking at Mr Fix It !)
Dad came over yesterday as now he has his MOT (failed 1st time and fixed by the garage) he wanted his car tax done but he forgot a certain letter that Mr Fix It asked for, so he'll have to come back once he's found it. The DGC came to tea and ate me out of house and home again, DD collected them and stayed a while but didn't want any gateau as she's back on the diet wagon.
The dw needs emptying and we'll have an easy tea and that's all for today. I may not be posting tomorrow but never fear I'll be back, don't know whether that's a promise or a threat 😂
dp1 I'm glad DGD and DD are home and slept in their own beds, long may that last.
Take care all

dp1 said:Can anyone answer a question for me? In the Easter holidays, I'm going to London for a few days with DD and little one. I have 2 visitor Oyster cards, both with a small amount of money on - one will have last been used maybes 2/3 years ago and the other one maybes 8 years ago. I think they're ok still to use and just ned topped up? And we can use them on a boat?

Thank you Snoozer and Floss - I thought it didn't matter how old the Oyster cards are.
I've been down at DDs for a while this morning - lots of lovely hugs from little one. She was showing me a book she has about London and saying she wants to go see mummies in a museum, so I asked if she knew what a mummy was, remembering that her mum had been quite horrified when she realised what they were, aged 10 or 11. 'Yes granny, they're very dead people wrapped in bandages, in a box with patterns and colours on!'
DD and I just looked at each other....10
