TSB Switch booboo - what are the chances of getting a payout despite missing the deadline?

Arghhhh, so I've realised I made the fatal error of not reading the fine print carefully. I opened the TSB account and requested the switch immediately... but set it for a date that is PAST the 21 days of requesting it. I am now unable to qualify for the switching bonus despite meeting all the other criteria.
Should I try my luck to go ahead with the switch anyway? Anyone has had any experience with this?

Wait and see. If not, they'll run another offer which (based on the terms of the other offers they've run in the last 2 years), you would still be eligible for.

Your chances are "medium". But you might as well stay on the horse until you know for definite.0

Forgot to add that the original switch request failed (probably due to incorrect details or something).
So at this point, I have the choice of trying my luck to set up a new switch now and see if the bonus comes through or wait till the next round as per WillPS's point. I guess there's no harm doing the former... unless there's a chance that might disqualify me for future switch bonus offers?0 -
If you switch now and don't get the incentive, you will be okay for future incentives as you technically have never been paid one! The only way you might get caught out is if they change the T&Cs of future offers to make future incentives available to new customers only (ie. you can't switch into an existing account) but from memory that's not something that TSB has historically doneMsPoundPincher said:Forgot to add that the original switch request failed (probably due to incorrect details or something).
