LCWRA BACK PAYMENT

Hi group,
I am looking to see if there is anyone else out there who are going throught the same issues I am at the moment with LCWRA. Let me explain.....
I applied for LCWRA last year and started handing my medical evidence in from the 6th sept.
Now here is my issue. When speaking to advisors from UC I have getting told
6th sept - 5th oct. 1st
6th oct - 5th Nov. 2nd
6th Nov - 5th Dec 3rd
These were the dates that I have been told from UC was my 3month assessment period for LCWRA.
I have been getting advised from UC advisors that the time period from 6th Dec. to 28th Dec. Will be calculated and paid as back payment as it is not a full universal credit assessment period ( 29th month to 28th month.
When I contacted UC again today I was informed that my assessment period is not from the 6th when I started handing in my evidence but is from the 29th sept. And the 6th sept to the 28th sept means absolutely nothing even tho I was signed off from the 6th.
Any help is truly appreciated as I feel like I've just been pushed from 1 bit of wrong info to the next

If you are found to be in the LCWRA category then payments are due from the fourth full assessment period after you notified them of a health condition. You notified on th 6th of September which falls into the 29th Aug to 28th Sept, so not a full period. Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov/, Nov/Dec are the three assessment periods before payments are due.Dec/Jan is the fourth assessment period and payments should start to be included in Februarys UC payment.1

I note that you haven't stated whether you have had your assessment yet and been awarded LCWRA.
You don't get paid for LCWRA until you have actually been assessed as having it.
So do you have that award decision yet or not?The waiting period begins on the first day of your AP that starts after you first provide evidence of ill health. So your 3-month waiting period is
29 Sep-28 Oct
29 Oct-28 Nov
29 Nov-28 Dec
That means that if/when it's awarded you would be entitled to the LCWRA Element as from 29th Dec.If you have already been assessed as LCWRA then your first payment for LCWRA should have been included with your UC on Friday 2nd Feb. (But if the award was made close to your AP end/payment date it can take a month before it actually gets included as backpayment). If you have not yet been assessed as being LCWRA then if/when you are the payments for it will be backdated to 29th Dec 2023.
