I use https://www.oanda.com as it's quick and easy to put in all countries, plus I can look at the history of the currency and get I get to print off quick ready reckoner calculations for while I am away. This will give an interbank rate - but as I use a Nationwide debit and credit card abroad the rates are usually pretty much the same. You can plug in a credit card rate of 2% or a cash rate of 4% if you prefer for your ready reckoner.
Sorry can't help with the cypriot money question though.0 -

European Central Bank website:-

Yahoo finance page with converter:- http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/m5?&a=1&s=EUR&t=GBP&c=00 -
I use https://www.xe.com for the actual spot rate and if you use a nationwide credit card you will be charged that rate commission free0

Travelex is very good especially if you order euros on line, or any currency, they will not be beaten.
Last month we purchase euros from them and collected them at the airport and as we bought them on line we got a better rate than if we just turned up at the counter - on about 500 quid we got approx 28 quid more than the post office.0 -
Why don't you check out http://www.firstdirect.com/apply/currency.shtml, you can check rates and order online - i've checked some rates and they are pretty good and they don't charge for home delivery!0
