Hi,
hope you’re well.
I am in the process of making a claim and originally the insurer was happy to pay out. During the call they mentioned that after checking my previous claims (previous supplier) one of the claim dates were incorrect.
they said before they can proceed they need to reconfirm with the underwriters, is that normal?

Yes, if CUE and what you've declared hasn't matched they'll want to check if it's just an error or if there was another incident that you failed to declare.0
